Laura Metrow, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

Upon graduating from Lethbridge College in 2011, with a diploma in Massage Therapy, I knew that my passion was to help people feel better and regain health. In my experience, I have come to discover that health is not limited to just one muscle or thing, but is a lifelong, full body journey.

I use my knowledge and experience with prenatal massage (during all trimesters*), motor vehicle accidents (MVA), Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), myofascial release, cryotherapy, trigger point release, active release techniques, sports massage and myofascial cupping with silicone cups. My continuing education of the mind-body connection and how mental health is affected by chronic pain help me develop a more comprehensive treatment plan for you as well!

My own personal journey to health includes drinking enough water and eating well. I receive regular chiropractic, massage and acupuncture treatments. In addition, I workout twice weekly, and try to maintain a balance of cardio and weights. I firmly believe you have to be able to have fun with whatever physical activity you do in order to reap the maximum benefits. For me, I enjoy doing the basics of ballet and weights in my slowly growing home gym. Laura has also developed an acute love of indoor plants! They have the added benefit of being beneficial for mental and physical wellbeing.

Laura is fully registered with the City of Calgary, the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and has 2200 hours of education and 8+ years of continuing education.
